Who we are

This website is run by Anas Vasileios, sole trader, trading as Athena's Archive, The Residence BLK PALM FL 10, Triq Luigi Apap, San Giljan STG 3325, Malta (VAT MT30405311). We are the data controller for the personal data described here.

For any question about your data, write to mariap@athenasarchive.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry, we receive what you type into the form: your name, organisation, email address, country, the type of organisation you represent, the approximate quantity you are interested in and your message.

Like every website, our hosting provider briefly processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We do not use this data to identify you.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry to answer you, prepare an offer and, if we work together, to manage our business relationship. The legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to and following up business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not sell your data, we do not use it for automated decisions and we do not add you to a newsletter.

Who handles it

Your enquiry is stored in our customer relationship system, Zoho CRM, hosted in Zoho's European Union data centre. Our email runs on Google Workspace, and this website is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers process data only on our instructions, under data processing agreements.

Your enquiry may also be handled by our independent sales partner, who works on our behalf and is bound by confidentiality.

Some providers may access data from outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are protected by safeguards recognised under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to business, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact. If you become a customer, we keep the records needed for our business relationship and for as long as Maltese tax and accounting law requires.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our fonts and images are served from our own site.

Links to Etsy, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Spotify and LinkedIn take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, to transfer it, or object to how we use it. Write to mariap@athenasarchive.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner, Floor 2, Airways House, Triq Il-Kbira, Tas-Sliema SLM 1549, Malta (idpc.org.mt), or to the data protection authority in your own country.

Changes

We may update this policy when our services change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
